The information is fairly dense, in a technical, biochemical manner, and one would probably benefit from at least a light background in biochemistry to maintain decent retention on the first read through. In order to improve health, these elements *must* be addressed correctly and Dr. Wilson has laid out the how and why. This book is incredible! I've been studying HTMA for a couple of years and have several books on the science & practice of biochemistry & how minerals are THE most important factor in the body producing enzymes & chemicals to process vitamins & nutrients in the body. This book is as thick as a bible and is packed full of information that's nicely laid out in an east to read format.

An incredible wealth of information on balancing your body chemistry. Tired of piece-mealing supplements together and never knowing if you've got it right? Not to mention spending a small fortune. This is the definitive guide to how to finally COMPLETELY balance your mineral /nutritional needs . Optimum health ensues. Also very helpful for detoxing heavy metals. SO worth it!
There is so much information in this book that you will have to read it, read it again, then read it again to be able to simply get the gist of how it all works together. If you are into mineral balancing at all, you need this as a resource! It is a great investment. I can't say that it positively impacted my life at all because I am asymptomatic and disease free, but it has helped me help a lot of people who thought they were stuck with various problems for life. It's not a quick fix by any means, but it is a natural one.

The only "negative" thing is that it expands your thinking so much that it may raise more questions than it answers.
I just started reading this. So far the opening mentions daily coffee enemas and whatelse. Not sure about you guys, though I believe it is beneficial that is not up my ally. Is daily overkill? I believe some unless it’s the gerson therapy don’t do it that often??

On a more real note so far it’s suggesting cooked vegetables. I thought those are less desirable for the fact the enzymes get destroyed with heat plus they can lose nutrients.

But what then got me disinterested in this book is when it said eat small frequent meals. To help the adrenals and whatever else. That is a problem. To my understanding that is really what helps promote diabetes and in combination reduces nutrient intake from the insulin issues. I am not a doctor and this isn’t medical advice just opinion. But intermittent fasting / time restricted eating (ie eat less during the day in a tiny window) shows that insulin sensitivy can be restored by rejecting that model.

Again I’m not a medical professional but that made me wonder if he is just spitting out garbage he hears from other people. If that’s the case I know he isn’t a real thinker. Which then makes me realize most statements are not followed by reasoning. It is nice when you are told the why behind it.

I will still like to get to the mineral ratios bit but until then I do not trust this book. It is merely a place for me to find ideas to create tangents from.
I've been researching health and nutrition for over a decade and this is hands down the most important and comprehensive book on the subject. I wish I had found it sooner - for some reason it's remains largely under the radar of mass public.
